Tracee Ellis Ross Rocks ‘Hunger Games’ Couture at the NAACP Image Awards (But Her Giant Platform Shoes Steal the Show)

Tracee Ellis Ross was a (fashion) force to be reckoned with at the NAACP Image Awards.

The 48-year-old Black-ish star made waves with her outfit, which she exhibited in a series of poses on her Instagram. Ross acknowledged the designer in her caption, saying, "SCHIAPARELLI ~ @naacpimageawards."

The all-black Schiaparelli suit included a fitted jacket with shoulder pads, a short overskirt and flowing wide-leg pants. The monochromatic peplum design was accentuated with gold jewelry, courtesy of Ana Khouri, as well as an enormous golden dove hat, made in collaboration with the Stephen Jones Millinery.

And while that headpiece would put Katniss's mockingjay pin to shame, the highlight of Ross's ensemble was her pair of white leather platform shoes. Featuring golden-dipped toes, the towering platform boots designed by Daniel Roseberry added a touch of drama that elevated the entire outfit.

Along with Karla Welch's styling, Ross's updo was executed by Nai'vasha, while her Chanel makeup was done by Tracey Levy. The photographs were shot by Erik Melvin.

But wait, it doesn't end there. Ross, who won her 8th award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series, was not satisfied with one iconic getup. Later in the evening, she brought out an Alberta Ferretti jumpsuit that was just as spectacular. At this point, we shouldn't be surprised that the Girlfriends actress had two tricks up her sleeve. Just this week, she posted two red hot outfits within the span of a few days.

No one is killing it quite like Tracee Ellis Ross.
