Meghan Markle’s 3 Favorite Shoes Are on Sale
If you’re like us, then you probably need to decompress a bit after the craze of this week’s royal news. (ICYMI: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are stepping back from their royal duties.) What better way to do that than with a little retail therapy?
Lucky for royal fans, starting Friday, January 10, the 38-year-old Duchess of Sussex’s go-to shoe brand Sarah Flint is having their semi-annual sale. That means all of Markle’s favorite styles will be—wait for it—30 percent off until Thursday, January 16. Sarah Flint is discounting 17 of its most popular styles, but the three we have our eye on are the ones that Markle has worn time and time again.
1. The Perfect Pump
These aptly named heels are a staple in the duchess’s closet (and also a favorite of Princess Eugenie’s). Although she owns them in several colors, Markle most recently stepped out in the cabernet suede version late last year. The best part? They’re not only stylish, but they’re also pretty damn comfortable.
2. The Marina Boot
Once upon a time, the “Markle Effect” led these boots to sell out really, really fast. Now, the Marina slouchy boots are back in stock and they’re on sale. The Duchess of Sussex wore these olive-green babies during an official visit to Bristol in February 2019 with a black chiffon dress and a black coat. One thing’s for sure: These boots are definitely made for walking.
3. The Lily Flat
Consider this the shoe that started it all. Long before the “Markle Sparkle” was a thing, the Suits star was spotted wearing these flats out and about (she also posted about them on her erstwhile blog, The Tig). They were discontinued for three years, but experienced a sartorial revival thanks to Markle’s duchess status. The chic leather pointed-toe flats feature a suede cap-toe, braiding detail on the vamp and handwoven ties that run over the arch of the foot and tie around the ankle. Consider them a step up from your everyday work flats.
