Ever since Stranger Things 4 premiered on Netflix, the sci-fi series has been breaking record after record. And now, the show has just achieved its biggest milestone yet.

The streaming service reported the show became the platform’s most popular English-language TV series of all time. As of its third week, the fourth season has been viewed for a total of 781.04M hours, which is a first for an English-language series during this period of time.

Stranger Things 4 has officially dethroned Bridgerton (no pun intended) as the most popular English-language series. Season two of the period drama now sits at the number two spot, with 656.26M hours viewed.

The previous seasons of Stranger Things continued to rake in views as well, with season one bringing in an additional 50.29M hours, season two an additional 51.42M hours and season three 47.6M additional hours.

Stranger Things 4 follows Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Will (Noah Schnapp), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink) trying to fight a new foe from the Upside Down: Vecna.

Netflix recently released the first look photos for Stranger Things 4 Volume 2. The photo slideshow gives a small glimpse into what’s to come, from Eleven preparing for one final showdown to the Hawkins gang creating a game plan to fight Vecna. The final episodes will debut on the streaming service on July 1, 2022.

The countdown begins…now!
