1. Macaulay Culkin

The iconic role made him one of the biggest child actors of the ’90s—but his success didn’t stop there. After working on the first two Home Alone films, he went on to star in movies like The Good Son, Foster Hall, Saved! and Party Monster. Culkin also guest starred in a number of TV shows, like Frasier, Will & Grace and Kings. Most recently, he appeared on the small screen as Mickey in American Horror Story: Double Feature.

Aside from landing several acting gigs, Culkin also launched a comedy brand, Bunny Ears, back in 2017. The 41-year-old is now happily married to Disney Channel alum Brenda Song, with whom he shares a son: Dakota Song Culkin.

2. Joe Pesci

Character: Harry Lime

The Academy Award winner has quite the impressive resume. After his short music career during the '60s, Pesci turned to comedy, performing as part of Vincent and Pesci before venturing into film. Shortly after his stellar performance in Goodfellas, he snagged his role as the hot-tempered con artist in Home Alone.

After doing the Home Alone sequel, Pesci released his third album, called “Pesci... Still Singing,” and appeared in 11 more movies, including The Irishman. Unfortunately for fans, it’s unlikely that he’ll return to the big screen for another Oscar-worthy role, since he has officially retired from acting.

3. Daniel Stern

Character: Marv Merchants

Unlike his character, Stern has plenty of accomplishments under his belt. After he returned for Home Alone 2, the actor continued his gig as the narrator of The Wonder Years. A few years later, he made his directorial debut with the 1993 sports comedy, Rookie of the Year.

Over the next two decades, Stern took on more movie roles and did voiceover work for titles like Dilbert, Hey Arnold! and Family Guy. He also guest starred in dozens of tv shows, including Monk, House of Lies, Shrill and more. Fans can expect to see him headline his upcoming film, Everything's Peachy, which he also wrote and directed.

4. Catherine O'hara

Character: Kate McCallister

More than two decades before she landed her role as Moira Rose on Schitt’s Creek, O’Hara graced the big screen as Kevin’s frazzled mom in the first two Home Alone films. The Emmy Award-winning actress, who’d already made a name for herself in the ’80s, continued to showcase her comedic chops in multiple movies and TV shows, including 30 Rock, Modern Family, Surviving Christmas and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.

With a Golden Globe, two SAG Awards, two Primetime Emmys and six Canadian Screen Awards under her belt, O'Hara is still making waves in the acting world. Most recently, she did voiceover work for movies like The Addams Family, Canada: Far and Wide and Extinct.

5. Kieran Culkin

Character: Fuller McCallister

Culkin's real-life brother. Kiernan, portrayed his on-screen sibling in both Home Alone movies. In 1999, he went on to play Laney Boggs's quirky baby brother, Simon, in the iconic teen flick, She’s All That. Kieran also appeared in movies like Igby Goes Down, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and, most recently, the 2021 crime thriller No Sudden Move.

In 2019, the actor and his wife, Jazz Charton, welcomed their daughter, Kinsey Sioux. On Instagram, Charton posted a pic of the newborn and wrote, “And just like that our little Kinsey Sioux (‘Zissou’) is home.”

6. Angela Goethals

Character: Linnie McCallister

While she appeared as Kevin’s little sister in Home Alone, Goethals didn’t return for part two. Still, she kept up a steady acting career, landing a small role in Jerry Maguire as well as several plays and independent films. You may have also seen Goethals in Without a Trace, Grey's Anatomy, Crime Scene Investigation, Law & Order and several other TV shows.

Per IMDB, she's currently married to Russell Soder, with whom she shares two children.

7. Devin Ratray As Buzz

Character: Buzz McCallister

The actor, writer and producer is known for more than his role as Kevin’s mean older brother. You might remember him as Prince Eddy's roommate in The Prince and Me, or as Stephen from the 2019 comedy drama, Hustlers. He even starred in two critically acclaimed films: Nebraska and Blue Ruin. But more recently, Ratray returned to the Home Alone franchise and reprised his role in the 2021 reboot, Home Sweet Home Alone.

While speaking with Den of Geek, he said, “I am very privileged to have continued to act as my only profession and luckily I am able to continue to do interesting and different roles that aren’t just Buzz.”

8. Gerry Bamman

Character: Uncle Frank

Real talk: Uncle Frank’s rude and unfiltered commentary were among the funniest moments in the first two Home Alone movies. The actor and writer went on to appear in a few more films, including The Bodyguard and Runaway Jury, but he's also worked on plenty of TV shows. Law & Order, Sex and the City, The Good Wife and The Following are just a few that he's guest starred in.

9. Hillary Saba

Character: Megan McCallister

Saba (formerly Hillary Wolf) played Kevin’s oldest sister, Megan, in both Home Alone movies, but part two was the last film she ever appeared in. According to IMDB, she left acting and went on to become a two-time Olympian in women's judo. She competed in the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics, and she even made history as the first American to win the Judo Junior world championship.

Saba is married to two-time Olympic alternate Chris Saba, with whom she shares two children. She also published a book called The Not So Zen Mom: Parenting Strategies for Survival in 2017.

11. Jedidiah Cohen

Character: Rod McCallister

The Michigan native left quite an impression as Kevin’s older cousin, but he has since stepped down from the spotlight and branched into different industries. After appearing in two more short films and a documentary about Home Alone, he went on to get degrees in astronomy and astrophysics from Harvard.

In 2007, Cohen worked in real estate as the vice president of Cooper & Cooper in New York. And now, he’s the director of operations at Tilt the Balance. The entrepreneur is also one of the co-founders of the online crowdfunding platform, RocketHub.
