What Is Knours?
Knours is a clean skincare brand that formulates all of its products using EWG-verified ingredients. The multifunctional and cruelty-free line aims to support women of all ages and backgrounds through the 3 M's: menstruation, maternity and menopause.
More specifically, its products help with hormonal acne, unbalanced skin, dryness, fine lines, wrinkles and loss of elasticity. On top of that, its packaging is fully recyclable, and everything in the line is less than $100.
Impressive, no? No wonder its Rejuvenation Duo is a hit. It includes the powerhouse One Perfect Youth cream ($48) that's formulated with olive oil, sweet almond oil, niacinamide and the brand's trademark blend, KnoursTM Komplex (sea buckthorn, Mexican giant hyssop and passionflower extracts) to deeply soothe, moisturize and brighten skin. While the One Perfect Revival eye cream ($36) uses rosehip oil, 4GF (a combination of peptides), SYN®AKE (another peptide) and the KnoursTM Komplex to brighten and depuff the eye area.
How to Use the Knours Rejuvenation Duo
Start by massaging a nickel-sized scoop of the One Perfect Youth cream over a freshly cleansed face (and neck, if you want to). Next, apply a pea-sized amount of the One Perfect Revival eye cream under each eye, and glide the ceramic tip applicator over it. Do this for as long as it takes to depuff your eyes, then carry on with your usual makeup routine—or rock the glossy, dewy look as is. I did.
My Review
As a beauty lover, I want to participate in all the latest trends that pique my interest, but when they feel problematic, I just can't. Knours has a message that I can fully get behind, which is that no matter what your background is and where you are in life, we all want the same thing: effortlessly glowy skin. And the duo is so simple and easy to use; it takes the complicatedness out of trends and makes your skin just look and feel good.
When I first used the One Perfect Youth cream (which, btw, smells like rose petals), I applied too much, which made my face tingle. A little really does go a long way, y'all. The moisturizer is on the thicker side, so when I used more, it felt heavy, but when I used less, it felt just right. Once I found a happy medium, I used it every morning for two weeks with minimal makeup. I noticed that my face felt incredibly balanced and hydrated from day to night, and I was even able to cut back on how much I was using without feeling dry. More impressively, the cream created a healthy sheen on my cheeks and nose without any highlighter. I was giving glass skin 24/7.
As for the One Perfect Revival eye cream, it took a bit more trial-and-error. For the first few days, I experienced some eye-watering, but it could just be that I have more sensitive eyes. Knowing this, I scaled back to using just a dot of the product, followed by the tool to soothe the area. This stopped the watering and made my under-eye area feel snatched. It didn't completely erase my bags, but it definitely made me feel more awake each morning.
