It appears Andrew Lincoln isn’t off the hook after all.
AMC just announced the actor, 45, will reprise his role as Rick Grimes in a trilogy of The Walking Dead movies, and all we have to say is…#Bless.
The news comes just one day after the actor’s final episode of The Walking Dead. (ICYMI: Injured Rick blew up his infamous bridge before getting airlifted to God knows where.)
Although his character won’t return to TWD, writer Scott M. Gimple teased Rick’s new venture on last night’s after-show episode of The Talking Dead, saying, “We’re gonna continue telling his story in a series of original AMC films. It expands the universe. It’s gonna show a different corner of the world.”
