Vanessa Hudgens Confirms Engagement By Showing Off *That* Special Ring on Her Finger

It looks like Vanessa Hudgens is ready to say OK “I do!”

Back in January, multiple sources—including TMZ and People—reported that the 34-year-old star was engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Cole Tucker, 26. And now, the rumors have finally been confirmed by the groom and bride-to-be.

Yesterday, the High School Musical alum shared a couple of snaps featuring herself and her fiancé sharing a loving embrace. The first photo shows Tucker hugging her from behind while she flashes her shiny diamond ring on *that* finger. 

The second pic showed a close-up of the beautiful engagement ring, which features an oval diamond set on a thin yellow gold band. Hudgens wrote in the caption, “YES. We couldn’t be happier,” alongside a white heart emoji.

So many of her celebrity friends flocked to the comments section to send love and congratulatory messages to the happy couple. The Vampire Diaries alum Nina Dobrev left a bunch of smiling faces with red heart emojis underneath the post. Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson (who also starred alongside Hudgens in Spring Breakers) wrote, “Love you guys.” And Emily in Paris star Lily Collins commented, “Ahhh congrats mama!!!!!!” with heart eye emojis.

Before the couple officially announced their engagement on social media, Hudgens shared a romantic post on her Instagram on January 25. The Second Act star shared a pic of her and Tucker smiling at each other on the dance floor, and she captioned it, “I’ll stop the world and melt with you [heart emoji].”

The pair first made their relationship IG official on Valentine's Day in 2021, when Hudgens shared a post that said, “It’s you, it’s me, it’s us.” Then, Tucker made his first public statement about their relationship during spring training of that same year: “I got a girlfriend and she's cool...She's awesome, I love her. But I don't want it to be, ‘Oh, Cole's dating Vanessa.’ She's great. She'll be around. You will see her.”
