We Have a Few Guesses About the Rhino’s Identity After the Latest ‘Masked Singer’ Episode

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

Last week, the remaining members of Group C battled it out for a spot in the top nine and we had to say goodbye to Swan, who turned out to be actress Bella Thorne. And during last night’s episode, we narrowed it down to the Super Nine, while another contestant got the boot. Yup, things are officially getting serious.

This week’s episode was slightly different than we’ve seen. Will Arnett joined the panelists as a guest judge and rather than the regular clue packages, a person close to each contestant provided insight into who was under the mask. The championship began with a group number set to Jennifer Lopez's "Let's Get Loud," which was packed with bonus clues about the four contestants.

First to perform was Night Angel, who chose to sing the Isley Brothers' "Shout." Her high school friend revealed she always had to juggle school with following her dreams, so she missed things such as senior prom. Up next was Astronaut with his rendition of Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You.” Astronaut’s “bro pilot” (whatever that means) stated that his friend is a great captain who knows how to lead a crew. T-Rex was next to hit the stage with her energetic performance of A.R. Rahman and the Pussycat Dolls' “Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny),” and we were tired from just watching her. Last, but certainly not least, was Rhino who slowed it down for the judges and sang Smokey Robinson and the Miracles' “Tracks of My Tears.” Rhino’s college roommate revealed that the duo learned how to surf together in college.

And, now, the results. After the judges and audience voted for their favorite performers of the night, T-Rex was eliminated and revealed herself to be Youtube star, Jojo Siwa.

This week, we’re diving into some of the top guesses for Rhino, who seems to be confusing both the judges and the viewers at home with his identity. So, we combed through some of the internet sleuths’ best guesses and combined them with the judges’ guesses as well as our gut feelings and landed on two possibilities: Sam Hunt and Tim McGraw. Hear us out here.

We’ll start with Hunt. The country singer actually fits a lot of the clues. First, he’s tall, fit and played college football, which matches the Rhino’s build. Not to mention, Hunt can (obviously) sing, and Rhino in our opinion has one of the best voices of this entire season. He's from Georgia, which matches one of the clues that implied he’s from the south. Hunt also loves motorcycles (the Rhino rode a motorcycle in one of his first clue packages).

As for McGraw, not only does he have the vocals, but a handful of Rhino’s clues fit as well. So much so that the judges have even thrown his name into the ring a few times. First of all, in one of the clue packages, Rhino is holding a sign that says “Faith” and while many have taken that to mean he is religious, we believe it could be referring to his wife, Faith Hill. He also stated that he hit a rough point in his life which his wife got him out of and McGraw has been open about his struggle with alcoholism. There was also a subtle clue that included a butterfly in one of his packages, and while Nicole Scherzinger pointed out that that might be a reference to a professional swimmer who swims the butterfly, the country star has a song called “Butterfly Kisses’” which totally makes sense. Looks like we’ll just have to wait and see.

The Masked Singer returns on Wednesday, April 2, at 8 p.m. PT/ET on Fox.
