We Officially Think Bret Michaels Is the Banana on ‘The Masked Singer’

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

Last week, it was revealed that the judges were right with their guesses of who was under the Mouse mask—Dionne Warwick. But this week’s Masked Singer made for quite an exciting hour of television as Group B's remaining four competitors battled for three spots in the show's Super Nine. Oh, and season one winner T-Pain joined the panel as a guest judge.

Before they even began the competition, the four contestants performed Backstreet Boys’ “Larger Than Life” as a group.

Similar to Group A’s final round, each character’s clue package included contestants’ loved ones (also in disguise) giving some hints on who their masked pals could be. Kitty started the night off with a performance of  Miranda Lambert's “Mama's Broken Heart,” which was pretty impressive. Next was the “zesty” (his friend’s word not ours) Taco with a rendition of the Four Tops' “Can't Help Myself.” Third up was the Banana, whose clue package included a message from a family member. He sang Bill Withers's “Lean on Me.” And last but not least was the Frog, who made quite the impression with his performance of the Gap Band's “You Dropped a Bomb on Me.”

And we almost forgot, each contestant was also tasked with giving a friendship bracelet to a panelist, which included hints about the relationship between them. Unfortunately, Ken Jeong was the only one who didn’t receive one. Maybe next time, Ken.

And, now, the results. After the judges and audience voted for their favorite performers of the night, Taco was eliminated and revealed himself to be Dancing With the Stars host Tom Bergeron. While the judges were on point with their guesses last week, they were way off this time around.

For this week’s prediction, we’re focusing on Banana. Not only was he the first character announced before the season even began, but he’s been a solid contender since day one. And now that he’s officially headed to the Super Nine, we’re taking a deep dive into his clue packages and performances to see if we can uncover the identity of this mystery fruit man.

Banana’s first set of clues shows him sleeping on a blanket next to a cowboy hat and a blowfish. He also reveals he’s “tough on the outside but a total smoothie on the inside and a total hoot to have at parties.” The blowfish could be referring to the band “Hootie and the Blowfish” and his use of the word hoot could also be related to the music group.

During the second clues package, the Banana starts in what looks like it could be a scene from The Office. He states, “Get ‘er done!” before moving to a room that includes two posters reading “Sons of Bananarchy” and “Banana ‘Chips.’” There’s also a blue collar placed on the floor.

The panel’s guesses included Larry the Cable Guy, Ed Helms, Bill Engvall, Darius Rucker, Billy Bob Thornton and Bret Michaels.

Our prediction? Bret Michaels. The evidence stems from the cowboy hat which has been seen in every clue package so far (Michaels is known for always wearing one). There are also a few clues that point to his band, Poison, including a blowfish and a snake which are both (you guessed it) poisonous. Not to mention, the singer is also known to be quite the partier. All the boardroom clues (which were featured in the second package) could be alluding to his time on The Celebrity Apprentice. As for the blue collar, we think this is an ode to his pet brand (yeah, we didn’t know he had one either). So, while we originally thought Darius Rucker was our strongest guess, we’ve officially jumped on the Bret Michaels bandwagon.

The Masked Singer returns on Wednesday, March 11, at 8 p.m. PT/ET on Fox.
