Did You Catch that Prince George Nod in ‘The Crown’ Season 3?

While binge-watching season three of The Crown, we couldn’t help but notice the blink-and-you-miss-it Prince George tribute.

The scene takes place in episode seven of the popular Netflix series and features a young Prince Andrew (Marlo Woolley) leaving St. Mark’s Church alongside Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman), Prince Philip (Tobias Menzies), Queen Mother (Marion Bailey) and Princess Anne (Erin Doherty).

In the photo obtained by The Daily Mail, Prince Andrew is wearing the same coat that Prince George wore back in 2016. If you think it might be a coincidence, you should know the scene was filmed at the same location where Prince George was spotted by photographers.

The traditional double-breasted wool coat was designed by Pepa & Co. While the royal’s exact style is no longer available, the brand has a similar version called the Traditional Grey Wool Coat, which retails for $207.

Prince George originally wore the coat to the Christmas Day church service in 2016. He attended the event alongside mom Kate Middleton, dad Prince William and sister Princess Charlotte. (His younger brother, Prince Louis, wasn’t born at the time.)

The 6-year-old royal is a longtime wearer of Pepa & Co. In addition to his wool coat, the young prince also wore the brand’s cotton jumper for his official 3rd birthday portraits.

BRB, re-watching The Crown season three in search of real-life references.
