Looks like Taylor Swift’s mom has some serious explaining to do…

On her most recent visit to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Swift got an unexpected surprise—a never-before-seen video of herself hours after getting LASIK eye surgery.

Yup, the 30-year-old singer got to watch the home video for the first time (along with the rest of the world) when Jimmy Fallon revealed he received the footage from Taylor’s own mother (!). And while the “Lover” singer was understandably embarrassed, she handled the whole thing like a champ.

Like she says in the video, she was clearly feeling a little loopy from her pain medications, and lucky for us, her mom seized the moment.

In the clip, we see Swift wearing some seriously fashionable protective goggles actually taped down to her face. She begins freaking out over a banana when she accidentally pulls off the wrong one from the rest of the bunch.

"Oh my God, that's on television, wait,” Taylor told Jimmy. “[My mom] was kind enough to drive me there but cruel enough to film it and give it to you?”

Who knew mama Swift was so sneaky?
