Sophie Turner’s $100 Overalls Are All We Need to Transition into Fall

If summer 2019 has taught us anything, it’s that Sophie Turner is the queen of cool girl dressing. She wore a jumpsuit to her first wedding (and a custom Louis Vuitton gown to her second). She pulls off a graphic T and high-waisted jeans with aplomb and she even made a chainmail dress look wearable in the real world. Her latest example of how to look effortlessly chic came just before the Video Music Awards.

Ahead of the awards show Monday, the 23-year-old Emmy nominee and her husband, Joe Jonas, walked the streets of New York for some last-minute shopping. While Joe looked very Joe in a Harley-Davidson shirt and skinny jeans, Turner rocked an unexpected ’90s classic: overalls.

These were no Katie Holmes backless overalls. Turner’s denim number erred on the side of cute and—dare we say—work appropriate, at least slightly more so than your standard overall. But the fact that her dungarees are optimal for anything from a PTA meeting to girls’ night out, isn’t even the best part. Nope, it’s the fact that they’re only $100.

The Game of Thrones alum’s flared denim dungarees come courtesy of Mango and feature ample pockets, adjustable straps, belt loops and a convenient side zip that makes them a whole lot easier to get on and off. They even come in black and aren’t sold out…yet.

Turner opted to pair her overalls with a simple white long-sleeve T-shirt and chunky dad sneakers, accessorizing with tortoiseshell cat-eye sunglasses, delicate jewelry, a black studded headband and, obviously, Jonas.

OK, it’s official, we need some overalls stat.
