Sophie Turner Was Totally Channeling This Throwback Red Carpet Look at the 2019 Emmys

On tonight's Emmys red purple carpet, Sophie Turner (who walked the red carpet solo—her husband, Joe Jonas, is on tour), wore a baby pink Louis Vuitton gown paired with a Louis Vuitton diamond necklace and rings and silver sandals.
Our minds, of course, went to one singular, totally ’90s look:

If you’ve somehow forgotten Gwyneth Paltrow’s unforgettable moment, honestly, what a shame. She wore the pink Ralph Lauren ballgown and Harry Winston jewels to the 1999 Academy Awards, and subsequently won best actress for Shakespeare in Love. The look was also famously parodied by the creators of South Park, but we digress. If Turner isn’t giving a nod to the famous look, we don’t know anything anymore. She even got the jewelry right.
The Game of Thrones actress is nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series, but even if she doesn’t win, it’s cool. She already won for best ’90s throwback (in our hearts).
