Serena Williams & Roger Federer Just Faced Off for the 1st Time & Here’s What Happened

What happens when two tennis greats face off to decide who the greatest of all time is? One wins, one loses, and both snap a selfie.

That’s just what transpired yesterday when Serena Williams and Roger Federer, who have 43 Grand Slam wins between the two of them, played a doubles game with their respective partners Frances Tiafoe and Belinda Bencic. Federer, 37, and Bencic, 21, were ultimately victorious over Williams, 37, and Tiafoe, 20, but there were no hard feelings.

After Federer’s five-to-three game win, he and Williams snapped a selfie together. Williams aptly captioned it, “Goat vs. goat. The goat won @rogerfederer,” using goat emojis to represent the “Greatest of All Time” acronym.

Federer posted the same selfie and captioned it, “Oh what a night” with fire and tennis emojis.

Roger Federer is the GOAT? No shade, but we’d like a 2020 rematch, please and thank you.
