First Billie Eilish, now Selena Gomez. It appears that the 28-year-old is the latest starlet to go platinum blonde and we can't get over how different she looks.
The former Wizards of Waverly Place lead traded in her typical brown locks for some bleach blonde waves, and she shared the transformation on the Rare Beauty Instagram account. Along with the surprising change, Gomez said: "New look. Need to pick new Rare Beauty lip and blush shades now."
The new mane was introduced with a gorgeous selfie from Gomez. While she hasn't debuted the look on her official Instagram yet, Gomez used the page for her makeup brand, Rare Beauty (which she debuted last September) to make the announcement.
This is not the first time the "Come & Get It" singer has rocked a blonde 'do. Back in 2017, Gomez showed up to the American Music Awards in a black leather mini dress while sporting some shoulder-length blonde locks. Fans noted the fact that this wasn't her first flirtation with blonde. One user said, "BLONDLENA IS BACK," while another commented, "Didn’t even recognize her AH THE BLONDE QUEEN IS BACK!"
Besides beauty transformations, Blondlena has been keeping herself quite busy. Just last month, she released her first-ever Spanish-language EP Revelación, featuring hitmakers like Rauw Alejandro and DJ Snake. Meanwhile, her HBO cooking show Selena + Chef just got renewed for a third season.
