Salma Hayek Reveals Just How Far She Went to Rid Her London Home of Ghosts

Salma Hayek has been in her fair share of scary movies. However, it turns out she’s had a few encounters with the paranormal in real life.

During Monday’s episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Eternals actress described the lengths she went to in order to rid her London home of ghosts. According to Hayek, while she’s only seen a few mysterious things happen at the estate, it was one of her workers who got freaked out about the spooky activity.

“I didn't see these [ghosts], but someone didn't want to work there anymore because the piano played by itself,” the House of Gucci star told DeGeneres. “And then lights go on and off or the doors and the windows open and close. I've only seen some of it.”

Hayek’s daughter, Valentina, who was in the audience, revealed that she “gets it the worst.” “I've seen the actual things—like twice,” Valentina said. With everyone anxious around her, Hayek took it upon herself to call someone to investigate.

“I said, ‘Look, I’m gonna bring somebody.’ Even if it’s not true, at least they might psychologically think it’s over. Finally, I brought the guy,” she continued. “So, he starts going through the rooms and says, ‘There's an old lady here and a child.’ He found like 20.” (Turns out, there's even a nun who prays.) We think there should be a movie made about this house...
