Ryan Reynolds Just Voted & Celebrated by Trolling His Wife, Blake Lively

Yesterday marked a major milestone for Ryan Reynolds—his first time voting in the United States. And in typical Ryan Reynolds fashion, he used the occasion to troll his wife, Blake Lively.

On Thursday, Reynolds revealed that he had just voted for the first time in a U.S. election by sharing a photograph of himself and his wife holding their mail-in ballots. He captioned the post, “I’d like to thank my wife Blake for making my first time so gentle and loving. It was super scary at first, then exciting and now I’m a little tired. But proud. #VoteEarly.” However, fans were quick to notice one minor detail of the snap—the fact that the Gossip Girl alum was not wearing any shoes.

Lively posted her own version of the photograph, only hers looked a bit different. In her rendition, the 33-year-old appears to be wearing a pair of brown sandals, which she had digitally drawn over her feet. While she didn’t address the edit in her caption, she did make sure to troll her husband writing, “It was Ryan’s first time. He was understandably scared. It all happened so fast. Like, REALLY fast. He wept. I pretended to weep. Then he called all his friend. #voteearly.”

Of course, the Deadpool actor used the occasion to poke fun at the mother of his children and shared yet another version of the pic on his Instagram Story. This time, he took a note from Lively and drew a set of boots on her bare feet. He topped off the post with an arrow and a question mark.

Going along with the fun, Lively reposted Reynolds's new snap, adding the caption, “...I don't see the issue.”

Neither do we.
