Reese Witherspoon Aptly Captures WFH Life in Latest Instagram Post

We’re not kidding when we say Reese Witherspoon is all of us in her latest (totally relatable) Instagram post.

On Wednesday, the Big Little Lies star shared a photo of herself on the phone (a payphone to be exact) with a surprised look on her face while pretending to be making a work-related call.

“When you forget to mute yourself on the conference call and you realize that was YOUR kid screaming,” Witherspoon captioned the post. Yup, nailed it. Only instead of a payphone, we’re thinking of that moment we forgot to mute our mic during our company's latest Zoom meeting.

From the look of the photo, it seems Witherspoon is actually in character as Elena Richardson from her new Hulu show Little Fires Everywhere, so that explains the payphone (the show takes place in the '90s).

This isn’t the first post we’ve seen from the 44-year-old in relation to social distancing and the coronavirus pandemic. Last week, Witherspoon took part in Jennifer Garner and Amy Adams’s “Save With Stories” initiative, sharing a video of herself reading a book titled Uni the Unicorn on the program’s official Instagram account.

First story time, now WFH jokes. This is the kind of content we need right now.
