Reese Witherspoon Goes on a Dinner Date with Daughter Ava (& They Look Like Twins)

For her latest dinner date, Reese Witherspoon didn't take her husband, Jim Toth. Instead, she chose to bring along her eldest child, Ava Phillippe (22), and documented the moment with a series of photos on her Instagram.

The Legally Blonde actress, 46, shared the slideshow to her account, writing, “Love my dinner date.” In the first slide, Witherspoon's daughter is giving a soft smile for the camera while rocking a white ribbed top and showing off her bleach blonde hairdo. The two ate together at the Violet Bistro in L.A., according to Phillippe's menu.

But while we admired the cozy setting (and those gorgeous floral plates!), the most arresting part of the photo was how much Phillippe looks like her mom.

The comparison was made even more obvious thanks to the following slide, where Witherspoon smiled for her own photo. The Little Fires Everywhere actress was spotted in a black button-up blouse and sported the exact same smile as her daughter, which only pressed home the idea that these two are basically twins.

Others echoed this sentiment in the comments, like one user who wrote, “Just straight up copy and paste.” Another joked, “Mother and daughter??? NO, sisters.”

Ava showed her own love by leaving a series of heart emojis in her mom's comments and writing, “Love youuuuuu!”

This certainly isn't the first time we've noticed the pair's similarities. Just last month, Witherspoon posted a beachside portrait, where she posed next to her lookalike daughter. The caption read, “Love sharing sunsets with my girl *esp when she fixes my makeup.”

Congrats on those strong genes, Reese!
