Queen Elizabeth Made it Into Prince Louis's Christening Portraits Even Though She Wasn't Actually There

Taking a leaf from the busy (yet always fabulous) Duchess of Sussex’s book, Queen Elizabeth has proven that as a royal, you can be in ten places at once. So even though the queen and Prince Philip couldnt physically attend their great-grandson Prince Louiss christening this July (due to a jam-packed month of travel), it seems QEII was still there in spirit, and we’ve got the pictures to prove it.

Post-ceremony, photographer Matt Holyoak, who took the official christening pictures, seated the royals right in front of two paintings in one of the rooms of Clarence House, where the reception took place. The painting of Her Majesty by Michael Noakes is visible in the background of the photo, meaning the queen still made it into the family pic.
