We’ve always adhered to the notion that if it’s a good investment piece, it’ll never go out of style.

Queen Elizabeth agrees, and has used the same handbag for 50 years, according to The Mirror. Her black Launer handbag has accompanied her for more than half a century, including nearly every official engagement, presidential visits and even her own royal portrait.

And who can blame her? The top-handled bag, which retails for $2,430 (NBD), has a classic structured silhouette and black patent-leather sheen,making it an outfit staple. She even awarded the designer, Launer the Royal Warrant in 1968.

Just wondering: Does she carry sweets in there in case she sees Prince George, Princess Charlotte or Prince Louis? After all, Gan G an knows best.
