This brand-new photo confirms that we probably wouldn’t recognize Princess Sofia of Sweden if she passed us on the street.
In honor of the princess’s 34th birthday today, the Swedish Royal Court released a photo of the royal that looks more like a magazine cover than an official portrait.
In the pic, Princess Sofia is wearing a simple cream top, black pants and one piece of jewelry: her wedding ring.
The snap is a far stretch from previous portraits, considering the princess is often pictured wearing a ball gown, sash and tiara.
Nevertheless, we applaud Sofia for stripping down. (And giving us a close-up of her stunning accessory.)
