A Royal Engagement! Princess Iman of Jordan Says Yes to Jameel Alexander Thermiotis (& Shows Off Her Stunning Ring)

It looks like there's a new royal wedding we can look forward to (and no, Prince William and Kate Middleton's kids are not quite old enough). In fact, we're talking about Princess Iman of Jordan, who just announced her engagement to the financier Jameel Alexander Thermiotis.

The news was shared to the official Royal Hashemite Court Instagram account, where they said, “The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce the engagement of Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II to Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, on Tuesday, in the presence of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, as well as Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, in addition to members of Mr. Thermiotis’ family.”

They closed out the caption by saying, “The Royal Hashemite Court congratulates Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II and Mr. Thermiotis on this occasion and wishes them a lifetime of happiness.”

In the engagement portrait, the 25-year-old princess is seen in a white dress, and she poses with her hand pressed against Thermiotis, who sports a navy blue suit. In this position, we get a good look at the royal's diamond solitaire ring.

Princess Iman's mother, Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, showed her excitement for her daughter on her own Instagram account, where she posted the same portrait and said, “Congratulations my dearest Iman; your smile has always been a gift of love that I’ve cherished since the day you were born. I wish you and Jameel a life filled with love and laughter!”

Congrats to the happy couple!
