Just when we thought Princess Charlotte looks nearly identical to young Queen Elizabeth, Lady Kitty Spencer shared a never-before-seen picture that is making us think otherwise.
Over the weekend, Lady Kitty Spencer (Princess Diana’s niece) posted a throwback photo on her personal Instagram account, featuring her 2-year-old self on a horse.
She captioned the post, “Lexus Melbourne Cup here we come!! Channeling my inner jockey since 1992!”
Her followers were quick to point out the uncanny resemblance to Princess Charlotte, who is the second child of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Everything from the hair to the eyes and the face shape looks nearly identical to the 4-year-old royal, who is slightly older than Spencer in her photo.
In the comments section, one user wrote, “Gosh, you look like Princess Charlotte here,” while others said what we’re all thinking: “Little Charlotte looks like you at this age.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve noticed the similarities between Spencer and Princess Charlotte. Back in November 2018, Spencer shared another throwback photo on Instagram—but this time, it was taken on her first day of school.
She captioned the post, “First day of school.”
Although the pic is black-and-white, it didn’t take long for royal aficionados to point out the striking resemblance to little Charlotte of Cambridge.
And to think all this time we thought Princess Charlotte was taking after her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
