It's not every day that you get a special message from the royals, but this is no minor occasion. Tomorrow, August 20, the Lionesses, AKA England's women's national football team, will face off against Spain in the FIFA Women's World Cup final. And while the royals sadly won't be able to make it to the game, Prince William, 41, and his daughter, Princess Charlotte, 8, sent out a video offering the Lionesses their best wishes.

In the clip, the Prince of Wales and his only daughter are seen seated on a bench, where Princess Charlotte (fittingly) holds on to a soccer ball.

“Lionesses, I want to send you a huge good luck for tomorrow,” Prince William says at the beginning of the clip. “We're sorry we can't be there in person, but we're so proud of everything you've achieved and the millions you've inspired here and around the world. So, go out there tomorrow and really enjoy yourselves.”

Princess Charlotte then chimes in, adding, “Good luck, Lionesses!”

Prince William, who is President of the Football Association, often shows his support for the team on social media. Just this past Wednesday, August 16, he sent a congratulatory message to the Lionesses after their semi-final win.

“What a phenomenal performance from the @Lionesses – on to the final!” the prince wrote. “Commiserations to @TheMatildas, you've played brilliantly and been fantastic co-hosts of this World Cup. W.”

However, it was reported by a royal aide days ago that the prince and his family would not be attending the final in Sydney, Australia, likely due to the fact that they're taking a break from their royal duties over the summer.

All we know is, this clip would certainly get us pumped for a final match.
