Keep your arms and legs inside the helicopter, Your Highness! Today (and on Kate Middleton's birthday, no less), Prince William took a helicopter ride in London's Air Ambulance as he accepted another royal patronage for the 30th Anniversary Campaign of the London Air Ambulance charity, which has treated nearly 40,000 patients over its 30 years by using its aircraft to save lives.
All the Pics from Prince William's Helicopter Flight Today (and, Yes, Prince George Was Probably *So* Jealous)
The helicopter flew "to meet clinicians, paramedics, pilots and crew members and learn more about the challenges of working as a first responder in the capital," Kensington Palace wrote in an Instagram post. William is already patron to over 30 charities and sports organizations.
This was also a return to his roots for the Duke of Cambridge, who was employed as a helicopter pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance for two years. During his time, he flew medical crews to emergencies from a base at Cambridge Airport, according to The Telegraph.

And let us not forget that the affinity for flying aircraft runs in Prince George's blood as well. We mean, have you ever seen someone more excited about a helicopter ride before?

Just us, or do you think Kate is probably not too upset about all the alone time on her birthday? Spa day, anyone?
