Prince Harry Is Returning to New York Way Sooner Than We Thought

Prince Harry is headed back to the east coast. The 37-year-old royal is reportedly scheduled to travel to New York tomorrow (if he’s not there already).

Per multiple reports, the Duke of Sussex will attend the Intrepid Museum’s 2021 Salute to Freedom Gala on Wednesday, November 10. During the event, he will present the inaugural Intrepid Valor Awards to five service members, veterans and military families “living with the invisible wounds of war.”

The event is especially close to the prince’s heart. He served in the military for 10 years and continues to do a ton of work with veterans. (He even founded the Invictus Games, a sporting event for wounded servicemen and servicewomen.)

The unexpected trip comes two months after he and his wife, Meghan Markle, made a joint visit to NYC. Back in September, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex traveled to the city to attend Global Citizen Live from Central Park, which took place on September 25 on the Great Lawn.

With a few days to spare, they also opted to pay their respects to 9/11 victims at the One World Observatory, alongside Mayor Bill de Blasio and his family as well as Governor Kathy Hochel. (No word on whether or not Archie and his baby sister, Lilibet, took the trip across the country with their parents. However, we find it unlikely.)

Unfortunately, this time around it seems Harry will be solo, with reports noting that the duchess will likely remain in Montecito with the couple’s children.

We guess we’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to find out for sure.
