It’s official: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are saying “ta-ta” to the Sussex Royal Foundation.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have officially dissolved their royal charity, which was created after the couple split from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s organization, now called The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The news isn’t a huge surprise, since Prince Harry and Markle filed solvency documents earlier this month. But prior to yesterday, the Companies House hadn’t officially processed the application, which is now accessible to the public.
According to The Daily Mail, the documents confirm that Prince Harry and Markle are parting ways with the Sussex Royal Foundation. However, that doesn’t mean they’re cutting ties with philanthropy altogether.
