Prince Charles's Candid Response to Royal Baby No. 3 Will Make You LOL

prince charles royal baby no 3

Prince Charles isn’t afraid to admit that three grandchildren is a lot to handle at the age of 69.

After Kate Middleton gave birth to her third child with Prince William, Prince Charles showed off his comedic side and released a humorous statement on behalf of himself and his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, congratulating his son and daughter-in-law on their new arrival.

It reads, “We are both so pleased at the news. It is a great joy to have another grandchild, the only trouble is I don’t know how I am going to keep up with them.”

Kensington Palace broke the news on Monday and announced that Kate had given birth to a healthy 8-pound, 7-ounce baby boy. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge introduced Prince George (4) and Princess Charlotte (2) to their new brother before debuting the newborn on the Lindo Wing steps of St. Mary’s Hospital.

If there’s any truth to Prince Charles’s statement, we can only imagine how Queen Elizabeth feels, considering she has eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a country to run.

Four cocktails a day now seems oddly reasonable. Take note, future king.
