Pink Shares Her Family’s New Social Distancing Schedule (& It Includes Her Kids Vacuuming)

Many families are looking to find a new normal, as they practice social distancing—and try to navigate what a typical day looks like with schools shut down. Well, it looks like Pink and her little ones have found a routine that makes everyone happy, and we're taking notes.

The 40-year-old “What About Us?” singer addressed her fans on social media in a two-part video and shared the kid-and-parent-friendly schedule that she and her children, Willow (7) and Jameson (3), are now abiding by.

As Pink explained, their daily schedule includes a pre-9 a.m. wakeup then an outdoor walk (or “yoga if it’s raining”). That’s followed by academics, creative time, lunch and chores. That specific day, Willow chose to vacuum, which we’re all about.

After chores, the family enjoys some quiet time, more academics, then some fresh air, dinner and TV.

The kids’ favorite part, however, is getting to enjoy a later bedtime, provided they adhere to one straightforward rule: Pink joked to Willow, “Bedtime [is] at eight or nine, depending on if you don’t fight with your brother, right?” Sounds like a fair deal in our opinion.

While the kids enrich their curiosity, tidy up and find new creative outlets, Pink said she needs a little something uplifting herself. So, she asked for book recommendations that aren’t as depressing as the novel she’s currently reading.

Before she signed off, she shared her love and support to fans and medical workers, reminding everyone to “do our best to be kind.” And if your kids get in on the acts of kindness with a little help vacuuming, even better.
