If you’ve watched Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor at all, then you know it’s been more about the drama than finding love (at least so far). So, imagine our surprise when the 28-year-old Bachelor revealed he’s “very happy” about how the season ultimately turned out. Is Weber “very happy” that he dodged a bullet or is he actually…engaged?!
The pilot opened up about his love life today during a visit to Live with Kelly and Ryan and admitted: “I’m in a good place.”
Although hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest pressed him for more details, Weber smiled coyly and told them, “I followed my heart until the very last second of this whole experience.” Maybe it’s just us, but that kind of seems like he ended the season by getting down on one knee.
Ripa and Seacrest then switched tactics and asked him if he has any Valentine’s Day plans. “What are you doing next Friday night for dinner?” Seacrest joked.
Ever the pro, Weber simply answered, “Actually, I’m flying. I’ve got a trip. I’ll be at work.” He could potentially be referencing his real-life job as a pilot or his new job as the Bachelor. Both would probably require him to fly somewhere on the (allegedly) most romantic day of the year. Perhaps he has public plans with Chris Harrison and Bachelor Nation or secret plans with his season 24 lady love.
The question remains: If Weber is engaged, then who’s the lucky gal? Honestly, our bet’s on Madison.
