Oprah's Latest Tell-All Interview Is Filled with Bombshell Reveals from None Other Than Will Smith

Another major celebrity is laying it all bare in the latest tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey—and there's no shortage of bombshell moments.

On the latest episode of her Apple TV+ series, The Oprah Conversation, Winfrey sat down with King Richard star Will Smith for a candid discussion about his new memoir, Will. And during the interview, the actor bravely opened up about his childhood trauma, his rocky first marriage and the moment he knew he hit rock bottom.

In a teaser released by Apple TV+, Smith got vulnerable about his lowest moment before he found fame with The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. After sharing that an altercation at a radio station landed him in jail, he explained, "The money is gone, the car is gone...I'm laying on the floor in a jail cell, and I'm like, 'You've got to be kidding me. i won a Grammy eight months ago. What is happening?' When the spiral starts going the other way, sometimes you just have to get out of the way and wait until the downward spiral stops."

The Grammy winner also opened up about his romantic history for the first time. He said, "I've carried, most of my life, the sense of failing every woman I interact with. I haven't talked about that publicly."

In case you missed it, Smith's powerful memoir recently hit shelves on November 9. And in the book, he discusses topics like the highs and lows of his career, his marriage to Jada Pinkett-Smith and how his father's violent behavior changed his life. He also details how he fell in love with his Six Degrees of Separation costar, Stockard Channing, while he was still married to Sheree Zampino. He wrote, "Sheree and I were in the first few months of our marriage with a brand-new baby and for Sheree, I can imagine that this experience was unsettling to say the least. She'd married a guy named Will Smith and now she was living with a guy named Paul Poitier (his character in the film). And to make matters worse, during shooting I fell in love with Stockard Channing."

Sounds like we've got a new book to add to our reading list.
