Surprise! We're Getting Another *Huge* Oprah Interview Tomorrow

First there was Meghan and Harry, then Chip and Joanna Gaines. Now, another high-profile star is getting the Oprah interview treatment.

As a part of her Apple TV+ series The Oprah Conversation, Winfrey will be sitting down with Umbrella Academy star Elliot Page for an exclusive conversation. In the episode, the 34-year-old actor will discuss his journey coming out as transgender and the ways in which he wants to be an active part of the trans community.

Check out a preview of the interview below.

In the clip, Winfrey asks the Juno star what it feels like to finally walk in a space where he can be himself and feel more comfortable in his body. Page responds, "Well, it's this interesting dichotomy in a way, where on some level it feels just like the most miraculous, amazing thing and it also is just sort of the experience of: 'Oh, there I am! Oh there I am.' And part of me is like, 'Oh my god, why was that so hard?'" He added, "It is such a freeing experience."

Page came out as transgender late last year when he shared an Instagram post saying, "I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot. I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life...I feel overwhelming gratitude for the incredible people who have supported me along this journey. I can’t begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self."

The exclusive interview will air this Friday on Apple TV+.
