Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka Dressed as the Olsen Twins for Halloween, So Everyone Can Go Home Now

There's never a dull Halloween when Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka are involved.

The power couple dressed as Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen for Halloween, so all other celebrities should just go home now. They revealed their look at Heidi Klum's Halloween party and stood in character as they got their pictures taken.

The couple showed up to the annual party, where you can't just come in a costume from the party store (especially since the Queen of Halloween, Heidi Klum, is hosting), and made us do a double take. (Honestly, put a side-by-side pic of the real Olsen twins next to this and tell us they don't look eerily similar.)

In typical Olsen fashion, the duo wore all-black baggy outfits. They completed the look with long blonde wigs, heavy contouring (with an emphasis on the cheeks and nose) and fake cigarettes in their hands (decorated in black nail polish of course).

Harris and Burtka are no strangers to pulling out all the stops for the spooky holiday, especially when it comes to the annual family Halloween group costume. From last year's Disney's Haunted Mansion ride costumes to Star Wars ones, fans are always surprised and impressed.

“Last year was such a big to-do. There was photoshopping and a fog machine and it was so over the top,” Burtka told PureWow. “This year, I said, let’s pull it back and go a bit more simple. I hope people aren’t going to be disappointed.”

This year, the Harris-Burtka fam dressed as popular artists such as Frida Kahlo, Andy Warhol, Van Gogh and Salvador Dali. The How I Met Your Mother star posted the look on Instagram

He captioned the post, "Welcome to the 2019 Burtka-Harris Boo-seum of Art. Audio guides are available in the gift shop. #happyhalloween @dbelicious."

Whether they're deciding on a couple costume or getting the whole family together, this duo knows how to win at Halloween.
