This Denver Hotel Offers Room Service…with Puppies (and It’s for a Good Cause)

We're always interested in a little room service treat, but when it comes with puppies? Sign us up, honey.

In honor of National Dog Day (August 26), anyone who books a luxury suite at Hotel Monaco in Denver from August 23 through 26 has the chance to opt into the limited-time "Puppies and Prosecco" package.

What does that entail (sorry, had to) exactly? For starters, a private puppy party will come to your room at your behest for an hour's worth of playtime. The puppies, which come from Lifeline Puppy Rescue, will be accompanied by a puppy expert from the Colorado-based no-kill rescue center to answer questions. (We're thinking things like, "can I adopt this one.") Along with six to ten puppies (depends on their mood that day), you'll also sip on prosecco paired with light Italian bites.

Once you book the package, all you have to do is tell the concierge what time you'd like your puppy party to arrive.

“At Hotel Monaco, we are always looking for advanced elements of comfort and feelings of home for our guests,” said general manager of Hotel Monaco Denver Chris Guse. Comfort plus home equals puppies, naturally.

And FYI, 50 percent of the proceeds from the puppy bookings will be donated to Lifeline Puppy Rescue. You can also adopt any of the puppies you play with, which may be all of them after a few glasses of bubbly.
