We need to kindly calm down, because Meghan Trainor just confirmed a super exciting rumor: She’s pregnant!
Today, the 26-year-old singer revealed that she and her husband, Daryl Sabara, are expecting their first child together. Trainor announced the news on her personal Instagram account and shared a photo of the baby’s sonogram, which is surrounded by holiday decor.
She captioned the post, “You all know how long I’ve wanted this!!!! @darylsabara and I are so beyond happy and excited to meet this little cutie early next year! WE’RE PREGNANTTTTT!!!”
Trainor also discussed the news during a virtual appearance on the Today show. The musician began by teasing her pregnancy, saying, “I’m very good as you can tell—it’s all Christmas here. But there’s other news that I’m dying to tell you and my heart’s pounding out of my chest.”
“Hit it, Daryl,” Trainor said. To which Sabara added, “We’re pregnant!”
Trainor explained that she couldn’t wait to share the news with her fans. “We’re so excited we couldn’t sleep,” she said. “We’ve been waiting for so long. I was thinking about who do we tell first, and I’ve told Hoda since I was 19 going to the Today show, ‘I will have the most babies in the world.’”
Trainor and Sabara tied the knot back in 2018 in an intimate backyard wedding. Although this is their first pregnancy, we wouldn’t be surprised if multiple children follow suit.
