Meghan Markle Just Skyped in to Harry’s Latest Outing

Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance (via Skype) as Prince Harry continued the royal tour of Africa in Malawi.

During a visit to the Nalikule College of Education on Sunday, the Duke of Sussex met with a group of young women who are supported to attend and complete secondary school with the help of UKAid scholarships through the Campaign for Female Education.

And although the duchess couldn’t make a physical appearance, she decided to Skype in for a quick video chat. Lucky for us, the couple’s official Instagram account documented the encounter.

See the video below.

In the video we see the network of women break out into song for Meghan when she appears on the screen. And of course, she smiles and claps along.

As the patron of The Association of Commonwealth Universities, Markle has made supporting girls’ education one of her top priorities. This is something she has continuously spoken out about, even before her time as a duchess.

Prince Harry is currently visiting Malawi after traveling to Botswana and Angola earlier this week. However, he will soon return to South Africa to reunite with Meghan (and baby Archie) in Johannesburg.

And so, the tour continues!
