Meghan Markle’s ‘Suits’ Co-Star Calls Out Online Trolls: ‘Just Want You to Know a Couple of Things’

Meghan Markle recently got some support from one of her former Suits co-stars, Patrick J. Adams, on Twitter.

Adams, who played Mike Ross (AKA Markle's love interest) for seven seasons on the series, turned to the social media platform to call out online bots who have been trolling him and the Duchess of Sussex.

In a tweet that was published earlier this week, Adams said, “Hello to the people and many bots debating all things Markle and including me in the conversation. I just want you to know a couple of things. 1. I don’t read any of it. 2. Life is short. 3. There has to got to be better things for you to be doing. Even you, bots. #botbetter.”

While it was unclear what instance caused Adams's tweet, fans loved seeing him look out for his former co-star, like one user who said, “Everyone needs friends like this! Meghan has some of the best.” Another added a reply using the actor's Suits character name, saying, “You tell 'em, Mike!!!”

This is not the first time the 40-year-old star has spoken out in support of the duchess. Last March, when a Buckingham Palace advisor accused Markle of bullying, Adams came to her defense, saying, “Meghan Markle and I spent the better part of a decade working together on Suits. From day one she was an enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful and supportive member of our television family. She remained that person and colleague as fame, prestige and power accrued.”

He added, “Find someone else to admonish, berate and torment. My friend Meghan is way out of your league.”

Although Suits ended years ago, we're glad to see these two have still got each other's backs.
