In need of a pick-me-up TV show? Look no further than season two of The Masked Singer, which seems even more bonkers than the first.
Fox just released an official trailer for the second season of the reality show, and it gives us a first-look at the characters who will battle it out in this year’s sing-off.
In the trailer, we’re introduced to the new cast. Some of the costumes are “normal”—like a flamingo, an eagle, a Christmas tree, a fox, a cake pop and a panda—while others deserve an award for creativity—like a leopard dressed like Beyoncé, a neon Groot, a Day of the Dead-inspired skeleton and a flower…with no eyes.
Season two of The Masked Singer will feature 16 celebrities, who are tasked with performing musical numbers while dressed in outrageous costumes. The purpose is for the judges to correctly guess the identity of celeb based on a series of clues. Each week, one character will be eliminated and, therefore, “unmasked.”
So, who will fool us all à la T-Pain (aka the Monster)? Guess we’ll have to wait until season two of The Masked Singer premieres on Wednesday, September 25, on Fox.
