The New ‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Season 3 Teaser Is Here & So Is Sterling K. Brown’s Cameo

It’s lights, camera, action for Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) and her comedy act in the new The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel teaser.

The season three clip dropped today courtesy of Amazon and reminded us why the hit comedy series has been nominated for a casual 20 Emmy Awards (it’s pretty damn funny).

Judging from the teaser, season three will show Midge and Susie (Alex Borstein) heading out on another tour. But unlike the Catskills gig in season two, this tour looks big, like, really big. Just see for yourself.

The new season has everything from a USO tour starring Midge to slot machines, donuts and plenty of beautiful LBDs. On a private plane, Midge tells Susie it’s the “first of a million tours” as Susie, apparently scared of flying, closes her eyes in fear. Oh, and did you also notice the unmistakable face of This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown when he comes over to wish them a “happy flight” at the 35-second mark? We wonder what role he plays in the upcoming season. A fellow comedian, perhaps?

In addition to the surprising cameo, we also noticed that Joel (Michael Zegen) and Midge’s co-parenting efforts have become much more harmonious (they’re both “OK with everything!”). Meanwhile, their parents have a bit more of an, um, awkward situation on their hands.

One thing’s for sure: We can’t wait for season three to hit Amazon on Friday, December 6. In the meantime, we’ll be polishing our own standup set.
