Our favorite organizational guru and imaginary bestie Marie Kondo is sparking joy on the red carpet at the 91st Academy Awards and we’re not surprised.
The star of Tidying Up with Marie Kondo is in an ultra-feminine light pink gown with sequined flowers and she looks gorgeous. She is sporting her trademark bangs and has swept the rest of her hair back in an elegant updo, while keeping her makeup and jewelry simple. The Netflix star brought her husband, Takumi Kawahara, as her date.
This is Kondo’s first time attending the Oscars, where she will be working the red carpet with Access. Will she be giving nominees tips on how to clear out their homes, we wonder? (Hey, they’re going to have $100,000 worth of new stuff to put somewhere.)
Considering that the Oscars have been kind of a mess this year (from hosting drama to major snubs), maybe Kondo can help the Academy clean up. Here’s hoping.
