It’s been a banner year for Céline Dion. She just celebrated her 51st birthday. She’s wrapping up her long-standing residency in Las Vegas this June. She’s preparing to release a new album (praise!). And she’s just been tapped as the newest brand ambassador for L’Oréal (joining the likes of Jane Fonda, Eva Longoria and Julianne Moore).
At 51, she is an absolute icon and someone whose body of work has spanned generations, so it makes perfect sense why she was asked to join the brand. “I’m at a stage in my life where I’m excited to use my voice to empower others to feel beautiful, confident, and to learn to embrace themselves,” says Dion.
Apart from making headlines with her flashy couture ensembles at awards shows and fashion week, we’re beyond excited to see her on our television screens once more—starting with a hair commercial (shot in Paris, mais oui) that’s debuting worldwide on April 22. Until then, we’ll be in our shower, belting “The Power of Love” into our shampoo bottles.
