Just because Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse are reportedly broken up doesn’t mean the Riverdale actress, 22, can’t celebrate his birthday.
Over the weekend, Reinhart commemorated Sprouse’s 27th year by sharing a love poem on Instagram. (Seriously.) She posted a photo of the actor smoking a cigarette and wrote a caption expressing her love for her seemingly ex-boyfriend.
Reinhart captioned the post, “I tried to find a poem that I could send to you / Because my words were failing me / But I searched and found nothing that did you justice / All of these love poems can’t get it right / No one else’s words could ever fit / They haven’t known the fortune it is to love you. — sappy nighttime birthday poem for @colesprouse.”
So, what does it mean for the on-screen, off-screen lovers? We’re not entirely sure. It’s been two weeks since news broke that Reinhart and Sprouse called it quits after two years of dating.
However, Reinhart seemingly debunked the rumors a few days later when she posted a sultry photo on Instagram and wrote, “BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know s***.”
