Lady Gaga Just Pulled an Ariana Grande & Left Her Pants at Home

Lady Gaga is a busy woman. She has her Las Vegas residency, her explosive acting career and her upcoming sixth studio album. Never mind that ol’ Oscar she has to polish. So how does she capitalize on her extremely valuable time? Well, the most recent pic of the 33-year-old Grammy winner proves she’s shaving a couple of seconds off her usual routine by forgoing pants.

Why? It’s not exactly clear, but the A Star Is Born actress was seen out and about in New York City after delivering a rousing performance at the Apollo Theater. She rocked a Green Day band T-shirt, knee-high boots, layered necklaces, a super high ponytail and, well, nothing else post-concert.

Gaga walked alongside her rather handsome bodyguards while entering her hotel and looked every bit like Ariana Grande in the Pete Davidson era. There was the cascading pony, heeled boots and even the winged eyeliner. Is she trying to pay homage to her fellow pants-less songstresses, Grande and Beyoncé? Or was Mother Monster simply not in the mood to put on pants after performing her heart out?

It’s also worth mentioning that Gaga accessorized the look with—wait for it—a My Little Pony doll. See that little tuft of purple hair in her right hand? Yep, that’s Rarity the pony. Don’t mind her.
