It appears Kelsey Grammer has his eyes on the prize. (And by prize, we mean a Frasier reboot.)
It all started earlier today when TMZ obtained a photo of the 64-year-old actor in London. Upon closer inspection, it’s clear that Grammer is holding a binder that—in true elementary school fashion—has a cover page with “Frasier” visibly written on it, along with the star’s production company, Gramnet.
So, what does it all mean? We think the Frasier reboot is officially a go, with writers mapping out the show’s return. Although it could take a while for Grammer and his team to finalize the script, the fact that he has a binder labeled “Frasier” is leading us to believe that he’s further along than he’s letting on.
This isn’t the first time we heard about a potential revival. Back in July 2018, Deadline reported that Grammer was in talks to revive the Emmy Award-winning series with the entire original cast. The Cheers alum was allegedly meeting with different writers to home in on a concept for the follow-up, and it appears it was a success.
