When was the last time you woke up and had to wiggle yourself into a pair of tight pants? For us, it's been awhile (thanks, WFH). For Kelly Ripa, that time was this morning.
On Wednesday, the 49-year-old star told her Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host, Ryan Seacrest, that she was uncomfortable in her ensemble for the show. During a video taken by producers and shared on the morning show’s Instagram, Ripa reveals that she had quite the issue with her pants today, specifically “getting them on.”
“Let’s pray that they don’t tear,” she tells Seacrest in the clip as they walk to the studio set. “My hands are stuck in my pockets because my pants are too tight.” And it seems she wasn’t kidding because at one point (unable to get her hands free), Ripa even holds the door open with her elbow.
The pants in question are a pair of simple black trousers. She completed the look with a red and black patterned blouse featuring ruffles and puff sleeves.
This is the second fashion issue the mother of three has had on the show this week. On Monday’s episode, Ripa looked chic in a brown paisley print shirt dress from Michael Kors. However, it wasn’t long until she realized (in the middle of filming) that she wore the item last week—on Friday, to be exact.
We totally understand that these things happen, especially since Ripa has been filming the show remotely for the last five months.
Don’t worry, Kelly. You’ll get back into the swing of things in no time.
