Kelly Ripa Sports Orange Pumps on ‘Live’ a Week Before Halloween

Kelly Ripa is ready for Halloween. In addition to posting throwbacks of previous costumes on her Instagram account, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host is choosing on-theme colors for her Live ensembles. And yesterday’s look included orange footwear.

On Tuesday, producers of the hit morning show shared their usual behind-the-scenes video in a post on Instagram. Right on cue, announcer Deja Vu introduced Ripa and her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, before the duo danced their way over to their seats. (Of course, Seacrest was a gentleman and pulled out his co-host’s chair for her.)

For the occasion, the 51-year-old sported a black and white polka dot sheath dress from Dolce & Gabbana. She previously sported the ensemble in April 2020 and again in September. But it was her footwear that really stood out to us. Ripa and her stylists opted to add a pop of color to the ensemble by accessorizing it with a pair of orange heels.

While we don’t know for sure, this is the first time we can remember seeing the mother of three sport this specific pair of pumps. When choosing colorful heels, Ripa often goes to her pink, yellow or blue suede options. However, considering the spooky holiday is right around the corner, the bright orange shoes totally make sense.

As we mentioned above, in addition to dressing the part, Ripa has also already shared a throwback image from a previous Halloween. Last week, the All My Children alum shared a photo in honor of Throwback Thursday, featuring herself and her husband sporting sugar skull makeup (commonly used for Dia de Los Muertos and Halloween). In the snap, the couple stands on a porch surrounded by giant and mini pumpkins. “#tbt 2019 Matrimonio,” she captioned the post.
