Katie Holmes Wore a Puff Sleeve Top with a Turtleneck—and It Looked Amazing

On the most recent episode of “Katie Holmes has a fashion moment,” the Dawson’s Creek actress proves it’s more than OK to rock white after Labor Day (especially if puff sleeves are involved).

Over the weekend, the 40-year-old actress was spotted in New York City rocking an oversize white button-up blouse (featuring puff sleeves), with a white turtleneck, ripped blue jeans and pointy-toed heeled black boots. See her full '80s-inspired look, here.

Both the top ($680) and jeans ($420) are from one of Holmes’s go-to labels, Khaite. (Both are still available online, we might add). She topped off her look with a black bag and dark sunglasses.

The Ray Donavan actress already has a streak of headline-making fall fashion this month. Yes, we’re still not over her LBD moment and those polka-dot tights.

According to her stylist Allison Bornstein’s Instagram, Holmes wore the Saint Laurent ruched silk minidress ($2,800) and Saint Laurent dotted voile tights ($210) for her big night out.

And earlier in October, Holmes stepped out in her (now) signature color combo—orange and black—twice in the same week.

First, she hit the streets in an orange blazer with black accessories, while she opted for an orange silk dress, a lighter orange long trench coat, and black pointed-toe heels a few days later at the American Ballet Theater’s Fall Gala.
