Kate Middleton Wore Princess Diana's Favorite Tiara and We're Hyperventilating

The tiara: It’s the quintessential, or rather, the crowning accessory for any proper princess. Tonight, at Buckingham Palace’s annual winter party, pregnant Kate Middleton donned the crème de la crème of royal headwear—Princess Diana’s coveted Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara.

The diamond-and-pearl-embellished head ornament is widely known as Princess Diana’s most prized piece of jewelry and was a wedding gift (it may have been on loan...) from her mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II. K Middy first donned the family heirloom at an event in 2015, but tonight she paired the epic headpiece with a blinding diamond necklace, pearl drop earrings, a beaded white dress and her pregnancy glow.

The annual Buckingham Palace affair is considered one of the largest parties Her Majesty throws each year. As grand as it was, Duchess Kate was clearly the belle of the world ball.
