In honor of Father's Day, Kate Middleton shared a throwback photo of herself and her father, Michael, over the weekend.

On Sunday, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge posted two photos to celebrate their dads on the official Kensington Royal Instagram account. Will went with a new pic featuring a near-giddy Prince Charles. Kate opted for a never-before-seen snap of herself sitting on her dad’s knee (scroll to the second photo in the slideshow). In the pic, the duchess is wearing a checked shirt and jeans, with her hair styled in braids. “Happy Father’s Day!” the caption read.

And while we love a good throwback photo, we couldn’t help but notice the resemblance between Kate and her youngest son, Prince Louis. And no, we’re not just talking about the dirty blonde hair. The toddler also seems to have acquired his mother's smile, dark eyes and rotund cheeks. Not to mention, they both have the same exact nose.

Need proof? Take a look at the latest snap of Louis (and his siblings) shared in honor of Prince William’s birthday.

The photo—which was taken by Kate Middleton earlier this month—was shared on Saturday and features the Duke of Cambridge on a swing with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis sitting on his knee (similar to pic Kate posted of herself).

Clearly we weren’t the only ones who made the connection, because the comment section was filled with messages pointing out the similarities. One user wrote, "Looks just like Louis!" while another added, "Prince George and Prince Louis totally look like the Duchess when she was younger!"

Guess those Middleton genes are pretty strong.
